About Together We Grow Kids Tutoring
Together We Grow Kids Tutoring provides personalized English, reading, writing, and academic support for students in Markham, Richmond Hill, and across York Region. Sessions are tailored to each student’s individual learning needs and may focus on reading comprehension, writing skills, essays, homework support, study skills, spelling, organization, and academic confidence.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, study skills, and overall academic abilities. Many students I work with are bright and capable but may need extra support, structure, or a different approach to make learning click. My goal is to meet each student where they are and provide individualized instruction that helps them grow at their own pace.
I started Together We Grow Kids Tutoring after supplying in busy, overcrowded classrooms and seeing firsthand how many capable students can get lost in the school system or struggle to receive the individualized support they need. I realized how powerful one-on-one instruction can be in helping students feel seen, supported, and confident in their abilities.

Whole-Child Support
I recognize that learning is influenced by more than academics alone. Some students benefit from additional support with focus, organization, confidence, or learning routines. I use supportive, individualized strategies to help students stay engaged and feel successful during sessions.
I also provide ongoing communication with families to share progress, identify areas of growth, and support learning outside of tutoring sessions. When helpful, I aim to align support with classroom goals and accommodations.
Credentials & Experience
I bring over 13 years of experience supporting students across a variety of age groups in both childcare and educational settings. My background in Early Childhood Education and Child Development supports my understanding of how students learn, where academic gaps may form, and how to provide patient, individualized instruction that builds both skills and confidence.
